Ranbir Kapoor thinks we take his onscreen characters too seriously!

Remember when Ranbir Kapoor was asked questions about whether or not he was in a relationship with Katrina Kaif way before they were spotted together in Ibiza? He used to give the same answer he did below. It’s quite interesting to see how he forgot he gave that answer before. The only difference is now he has added that he only dated 2 actresses. Maybe he thinks that we forgot that his dad publicly said in an interview how Ranbir is dating everyone from ABC. But the thing is, it’s not that the public has the wrong perception of Ranbir Kapoor, it’s just that he himself opened up that box of self-buffoonery when he appeared on ‘Koffee with Karan’ with Imran Khan and decided to let the whole world know how he can’t stay committed to just one relationship. We are sure Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will agree. But we do wonder whether he would have admitted to dating Katrina, had he not been outed? Only he can tell. In the meantime, check out how Ranbir thinks the audience is that stupid to believe him onscreen in this chat from Neha Dhupia’s ‘No Filter Neha’.

Ranbir Kapoor on people’s wrong perception of him

I think unfortunately because of the two actresses I was in a relationship with and because of a certain film I did very early on in my career, people have this perception that I’m a playboy and a serial dater. Partly true but not completely true.

    1. Haha, I love how much this site’s writers hate Ranbir and Hrithik. Earlier I was in Ranbir’s corner, but people aren’t wrong, from Rajiv’s interview it’s easy to see how he might come off as arrogant IRL (and probably is, to a lot of people). I don’t really have an opinion about his personal life anymore, but I don’t think he’s gonna ever open up completely. I don’t think we’ll ever know how he really thinks, regardless of how candid he gets.

      1. Thanks 😉 It’s not really about hate, it’s about him feeling entitled. Using his name to get to where he is. Mostly, it’s about his pretending to be innocent when we all know he isn’t! By the way, we like Hrithik onscreen..again with him, it’s his holier than thou attitude that is annoying. And he should also stop whining and man up!
