After news broke of Pamela Chopra’s demise, Bollywood celebrities rushed to the Chopras Residence to offer their condolences. Seen below is Rani Mukherjee, who’s the wife of Pam’s son Aditya Chopra, escorting Amitabh Bachchan to his car. Upon hearing the news, Shah Rukh Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar made their way quickly to the residence. The statement that was released was out at a time when the cremation already took place to avoid commotion and also due to the fact that Aditya Chopra doesn’t enjoy being photographed in public so they did all the formalities and then announced the death of their mother in a formal manner.
The late Pamela Chopra, who once battled cancer, had pneumonia and was hospitalised for 15 days at the hospital.
She passed away today early morning due to pneumonia with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome). She had been admitted to the hospital for 15 days in the ICU.
