Actually, South actor Siddarth was the one that was pissed off at this ad and he was the one that started the whole thing by tweeting about it. It’s a bit ironic considering the rumours surrounding him or rather, the complaints about him from film productions in Mumbai. Anyways, when he tweeted that, the media joined his bandwagon and soon after the brand apologised for putting up an ad that people (read: Siddarth from South films) found disrespectful. Ranveer Singh just sent out the message below:
