So….

You have probably heard about the big news that was everywhere last week. Don’t know how it started but once it did, it spread like wildfire!

It’s hard to believe that their relationship has evolved so fast to the point of them getting engaged or officially sealing their relationship…especially when his parents have yet to meet her and also the fact that his dad does not think this is the right time for him to get seriously involved with a high-profile actress!

What’s funny, though…People seem to forget the same news was trending 5 years ago!

And 5 years ago, the parents were also not OK with their son dating her.

So, basically, it’s still the Same Old, Same Old.

His father, famous action director, Sham Kaushal also denied such a thing happened:

Vicky Kaushal in an industry kid. His dad is probably the most famous Bollywood action coordinator so he knows the rules of Bollywood and what he needs to do to survive here. In other words, he’s no stranger to the happenings of Bolly-town.

It’s been more than 5 years since Vicky made his debut as an actor in ‘Masaan’. In 2019, he tasted success in a big way for the first time with his film ‘Uri’. Soon after, he suddenly broke up with longtime girlfriend Harleen Sethi. Rumor had it, it was because Vicky became interested in Katrina. The two appeared in an interview segment for Film Companion, people were commenting how good they looked together and so on. Needless to say, that got the ball rolling for the media and their speculations on these two.

Like a true KJo fantasized romantic story, these two got together and their relationship became one of the main reasons both of them are regularly featured in the media.

Now it’s 2021, they are still being talked about for their relationship. He or she slyly leaking out details and then pretending to be coy about it. Their families have not met yet, which means where did the news of a secret roka come from? Just out of the blue, no news of meeting the parents or the parents liking her and all that, straight away a secret roka happened?

First news of a Roka happening:

Back then, the first time the Roka news came out was months after Shahid had his roka. Could it be someone got inspired by this whole roka thing and decided to spice things up?

Because before Shahid, no one had heard of the Roka thing happening. It came out with Shahid because it was an arranged marriage situation. None of the celebs publicly came out and stated a roka happened for them.

It’s a bit strange when the second time a famous celebrity couple is rumored to be having a roka is these two who were already living-in together at that time.

In an interview, RK was asked about it and he responded with this:

Spread engagement news:

Again, did no one wonder how an engagement can happen when the family did not approve of the relationship?

By the way, doesn’t it seem like VK and KK’s relationship is following the same pattern as RK and KK’s relationship? At least, if we go by the stories printed in the media.
