Shah Rukh Khan has to appear on Arab reality shows to make money

If you are familiar with Shah Rukh Khan, you know the man will do anything for money. Anything, as long as he sees it as a way to entertain. He has a huge house to pay for, two companies to finance, an IPL team and his own professional and personal staff on his payroll. He has been doing lesser films as the year goes by, but that doesn’t really matter because he has always said he doesn’t charge much. He has always said that he makes his money from dancing at weddings or performing at award shows. A couple of years back, he realised that he can make money by hosting and performing at award shows. It started with just one show, Filmfare, that became a huge hit. Then, he did a couple of other shows and soon, he started hosting all the award shows that happen in a year in Bollywood with perhaps IIFA being the only one he hasn’t fully hosted yet. Since it has recently been disclosed that he has another life, he could have been earning to pay expenses for that one too because his whole deal of hosting all award shows was just too much. It’s too much of him and his arm-stretching stardom. You can say it’s repetitive. Every time, he will invite a co-star of his to come on stage and do a dance move. He treats these award shows like his own personal concert shows. We have to wonder how people in the audience take it. Not everyone is a Shah Rukh Khan fan. It’s like he’s given a platform to boost his ego and make himself feel better. And if you know SRK, you know he likes to talk. It’s like no one listens to him at home, which is why he enjoys talking at great lengths with and to strangers.

Shah Rukh has said himself once that every time his company needs money, he goes out to perform somewhere to earn that money. It’s how he got the money to make ‘Ra.One’. Aside from award shows, Shah Rukh has also found his second home to make money and that is Dubai. People in Dubai love Shah Rukh and enjoy having him over. If you go over to YouTube, you will see the dozens of launches that Shah Rukh attended. There’s even a new hospital launch that he attended and was given a special tour like a VIP guest. Last week, though, came the weirdest thing Shah Rukh has ever been on, which is a reality TV show that pranks celebrities (with their knowledge, of course). Ramez Underground is hosted by Ramez Galal and Shah Rukh Khan was a guest on it for its Ramadan episode. The episode was shared on YouTube for a couple of days until it was taken down. News channel and the rest of the media got whiff of what happened with Shah Rukh there and posted about it. It was all a silly situation involving a Komodo dragon trying to eat Shah Rukh and the lady, who was with him. Shah Rukh’s fans noted how gentlemanly he was throughout the whole prank as he was trying to protect the woman despite being scared himself. That clip was left online for many days and viewers wondered whether it was real or staged.

Today, Shah Rukh’s team came out and said that he was perfectly aware of what was going to happen when he signed on to do that episode. So, in other words, it was all staged. See, Shah Rukh acts so much better off screen that even his fans don’t know that he’s acting and not playing it real. In what came as a surprise, Shah Rukh was paid $400,000, which is like 2 crore, to be on Ramez Underground. It’s almost the price that he charges to host award shows. How strange this is that someone like Shah Rukh Khan has to resort to doing these things to make money? Is he that much in need of money? Can’t he just sign more films? Is he planning to make ‘Ra.Two’? He is a good actor, he should just choose his films better. It’s sad that out of all the 3 Khans, the most educated Khan is the one who has to silly shows like these to make quick bucks. You won’t see Aamir Khan getting down and dirty like that. He even refuses to dance on stage. Salman does host shows, but doing silly reality shows like this, don’t expect it; even if it saves him from going to jail or become a better human.

We don’t want to say why has Shah Rukh stooped so low, but what made him get to this point today? Is it because his ambitions are way too big to finance or is he really running out of money? Whatever it is, it’s sad because he seems to be too blind to see what he’s gotten himself into. Poor guy had to play a waiter in Dubai to lure tourists! He’s probably never even lift his plate in Mannat. We have to wonder if it’s all for that house they gave him there. Like they say, actors hanging out in Dubai way too often is not as innocent as you think it is.
