After years of speculations and rumours, Sonakshi Sinha finally confirmed that she and Zaheer Iqbal have been together for 7 years. Zaheer made his debut in a Salman Khan production called ‘The Notebook’ alongside Monish Bahl’s daughter, Pranutan Bahl. For years, they denied they were together until they slowly started making appearances together on the red carpet.
Late last month, their wedding invitation was leaked online by one of their guests. It was said the Sinhas did not approve of the relationship but eventually Sonakshi’s parents decided to join her in celebrating the marriage. Zaheer’s parents made it clear that Sonakshi and Zaheer will be going through the customary court marriage registration but there will be no religious marriage ceremony from both sides. After they registered their marriage and shared their pictures, the couple had a reception in the evening with their family, friends and colleagues.
