SS Rajamouli is currently shooting ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’ when he received the news that ‘Baahubali’ was chosen as the winner of the Best Film at the National Awards 2016. The film does deserve its award as it’s the first film that has recovered its money really fast, faster than any of the Khans’ films. Here SS Rajamouli talks about a lot of things, including how Baahubali Part 2 will be like and most importantly, he answers the biggest question of 2015, which was, “Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?”.

Part 2 will be bigger than the first film but its USP will be emotions between the characters. It will be something that will keep the audience transfixed even more than the war scenes.

We shot for 380 days and by the time we reached 320 days I could feel a sense of exauhstion in the whole unit. In our industry, the energy flows from the director. I was myself very tired and keeping the tempo up for the last 60 days was the biggest challenge.
