The other day, we mentioned how Tiger Shroff is trying to imitate Hrithik Roshan’s career since he’s a self-proclaimed big fan of HR. For further proof of that, Tiger launched the trailer of his superhero movie, ‘A Flying Jatt’. Get the similarities? Well, the difference of ‘A Flying Jatt’ and HR’s superhero film is that Tiger’s film is slightly a comedy more and the superhero is deeply flawed and has a mother (played by Amrita Singh) and a brother. So, ‘A Flying Jatt’ pretty much focuses on a lot of characters in the film not on just the superhero alone. It will definitely be interesting to see how it fares at the box office as we are sure kids would love the film very much. I am motivated by fear and I am scared of not being able to do something.
Tiger on his real life hero
I think every kid’s hero is their dad and for me my superhero is my father….I like superheroes who are very human and underdog,” he said.
Tiger on his character in ‘A Flying Jatt’
That’s why I relate to my character in ‘A Flying Jatt’ because he is a very normal person and very human. He was very unsure about his super powers, he didn’t know how to use them, he is scared of heights, speed, especially he is scared of his mom, but he has to listen to her.
Tiger on how he prepared for his role in ‘A Flying Jatt’
Preparation was very difficult. We are trying to show a very different kind of action in the film, so lot of harness work and lot of martial arts-based action is there. Remo sir gave me lot of time to prepare for the action sequences and also to learn a little bit of Punjabi culture.
Tiger on working with Nathan Jones, an Australian actor-wrestler
It was a treat to work with Nathan sir. He looks very is powerful. He is a thorough professional, he was also a wrestler so he has that control over his body language. He looks big but he is very agile for his size.
