Trailer of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga: A Different Kind of Love Story

You all know by now, or since Rajeev Masand revealed in a blind item, the story of this movie. Since then, the title made more sense or else, this whole time it seemed like a really lengthy title. Guess that’s why Vidhu Vinod Chopra is producing this film, this is his title, which was a very famous song in the 90’s in a somewhat iconic film starring Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala. It would have been perfect if they retained Manisha for this film as well, that would have been quite something! Juhi Chawla is good enough, though. Sridevi might not be here anymore, Juhi will do just fine.

Anyways, the trailer of ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has been released today and they did a pretty good job of masking the real root of this story. If you had no idea what it’s about, chances are you would not have understood what this film is about. Rajkummar Rao is also in it, playing the poor guy that the girl never quite falls in love with. Actually, he plays bestie of the lead actresses most of the time. He is the guy, who understands women in films. That’s why they either have him making saris or selling them.

As for the girl, who is opposite Sonam or rather her love interest, she is not shown upfront in the film. The film will be out next year in February, can’t wait to see the response it will get from the audience because naturally with a subject like this, critics are going to love it. But at the end of the day, it’s the audience that matter.

    1. It’s appears to be a good movie where a very sensitive yet important topic has been handled in the right way. For the first time I actually liked Sonam. Rajkumar Rao as usual is a delight to watch. Such a intelligent and self assured actor. Even after so many successes him and Ayushmann are so grounded. Which cannot be said about Ranveer nowadays. I really rooted for Ranveer during Bajirao and Khilji days but ever since he got married both of them are on a PR overdrive and it’s annoying AF. Simmba isn’t that successful neither is it a critically acclaimed movie. It’s beaten to death formula movie that is doing the business it is expected to do. KGF is making far more money but the noise RS is making is too much.

    2. Admin, don’t you find Deepika’s new magazine covers are a bit something: seems like she has signed contracts that say “You need bikini photoshoots only.” Not that she can’t wear bikini, she should definitely wear them because she looks beautiful in them but it seems like she’s trying to say something through them

    3. Such a nice trailer , they cut the trailer in such a way that after watching it people would like to watch the film and also they wont be able to make out what the story of the film, thank you so much for sharing it on your website
