Trailer: Prithviraj – Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood & Manushi Chhillar

To be released on June 3, ‘Prithviraj’ looks like most of the period films that have already released…But most importantly, it looks like Akshay Kumar is playing the same character from ‘Housefull 4’. His face in the film while delivering his dialogues even looks like he thinks he’s in comedy film.

Akshay Kumar on Twitter: "Miliye 1419 ke Rajkumar Bala aur 2019 ke London return Harry se! Witness how they embark upon this journey of ultimate chaos, confusion and madness in the #Housefull4

This is Manushi Chillar’s first film and yet, it appears as if she has not had any acting training as she’s reading her lines during her scenes and that too without any emotion attached to it. Have to say though, her smile is a bit like Rani aka Malkin of YRF but so is that other girl who was in ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Sharvari Wagh! Is that a requirement there at the YRF casting department?

That aside, isn’t the age gap between Khiladi Kumar and his heroines getting bigger and bigger? Manushi could practically be his daughter, if he kept his engagement and stuck to his wedding with Ravs. What a sad time it has become for Indian films! They are not using VFX to make their old/senior heroes look younger! How are they ever going to retire? Akki certainly doesn’t look young anymore from any angle.

What is the deal with YRF casting big actors for their big-budget films? Are they afraid of not breaking even? Wonder if Aditya Chopra is trembling now considering how Akki’s past films have been disasters at the box office and on top of that, panned by both the critics and audience.

Does ‘Prithviraj’ look like a winner for Akki and YRF?

Does not look special from any angle!

    What do you think?

Pssst….Akki wants to the film to be shown in schools..you know, cause it’s a great thing that a Canadian is playing such a great warrior onscreen!
