Trailer: Velle – Abhay Deol, Mouni Roy, Karan Deol & Anya Singh

The purpose of this trailer seems to be all about showing the exact cuts that best portray Karan Deol’s acting capabilities!

    Here, check it out below.

Does Ajay Devgan have some extra cash lying around or something? He has been producing movies that don’t include him and just basically from random topics. In short, not the kind of movies you expect would break bank at the box office.

In this case, maybe Ajay is really close to Sunny Deol. As you know, he launched his son Karan Deol in ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ which was released in 2019. It was then announced earlier this year that the whole Deol family including Karan would be in ‘Apne 2’. Then somehow that didn’t materialize but still Karan ended up getting his second film, ‘Velle’ which also features another close family member, his uncle Abhay Deol, in it. It would be funny if he has ever had a complaint ab0ut nepotism in the industry, especially during the whole drama last year! Truth is, when a family member asks, you can never refuse. That’s how close the Deols are!

Based on the trailer, Karan appears to be much more comfortable in front of the camera…and he looks a bit more like his father now than he did before. Speaking of his dad, he is currently working on launching his second son in Bollywood! Remember the time Sunny Deol was missing when the farmers were looking for him?

‘Velle’ is the remake of a Telugu film ‘Brochevarevarura’, released in 2019. We sort of watched a bit of it last year but the story took a bit too long to pickup, no one wanted to continue watching it so we gave up. It got lost in the news last year in December 2020 that Ajay was going to remake it in Hindi with Abhay Deol and Karan Deol.

Other than Abhay and Karan, the film also features Savant Singh Premi, Visshesh Tiwari, and Mouni Roy (who is still shooting and waiting for her big Bollywood entry ‘Brahmastra’ to release). Anya Singh is in it as well as the main female lead. You might remember her as the YRF girl who was launched at the same time as the YRF boy aka the Kapoor’s (or Tara Sutaria’s) Aadar Jain.

The film will be released in theatres on December 10, 2021. It’s a bad step they are taking to release this in theatres, they should have just opted to go on OTT, just like Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming film. That way, there will be no box office numbers and the producers, cast and crew can celebrate the number of times it has been watched instead. Takes a huge pressure off, just ask Siddharth Malhotra!

Anyway, are you excited to watch ‘Velle’?
