At the Apsara Awards (Producer’s Guild) recently, they decided to do something different and honour the living legends. Last year witnessed the passing of two legends, Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor. So I guess this time, the awards ceremony wanted to be prepared and all. Shah Rukh Khan is seen on stage alongside Vinod Khanna, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Manoj Kumar, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Waheeda Rahman, Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Zeenat Aman, Asha Parekh and Vyjantimala. It’s not fair that they honour all of them at the same time as they all are from different eras. But as I mentioned above, it could be that they don’t want to take any chances. Who knows what might happen later on this year.
